Motivation is the general desire or willingness to do something, but it is not something that determines pure success. Think of motivation as the choice to make the decision to accomplish a goal. Regardless of what your motivation is, you must stick to your plan by creating a habit and being consistent.
It’s the ability to do things, regardless of your struggles. For example, there will be days that you won’t have the ‘motivation’ or ambition to do much, but it’s up to you to make it happen anyways. That is pure motivation and what sets apart those who are successful and those who are not.
DECIDE & DO IT
Achieving goals is not a matter of possibility, it’s a matter of motivating yourself to focus on the right things and in the right ways. If you want something, make the decision and work towards it. This type of motivation is something that requires you to take action daily.
Most of us stick to what we know rather than trying a different approach to obtain a better result. Be open to changing your ways and you may find it helpful to approach your most challenging goals.

Press play & take action
Reading articles, reviewing your to-do’s, or over-thinking something only prolongs your progress. There’s no better way to overcome stagnant laziness other than to press your play button and take action.
Believe in yourself
The more you believe in your own powers, the more you can, and will accomplish. Getting started with anything takes courage to put the plan into action. Be positive in your thoughts, in your self-talking voice, and tell yourself “you can do it”!
Spend time with positive people
Surround yourself with someone who inspires and motivates you to be better. Let their inner light guide you to be more productive and recharge your system.
Choose daily happiness
We all have the choice to think, feel, and behave in a way that serves us best. When you let go of negativity and self-limiting behaviors, there will be more space for positivity. Be happy and grateful for all you are, all you do, and all you possess.
Tap into your inner limits by challenging your workout intensity. This doesn’t mean to kill yourself during your workouts, rather to pushing yourself harder during an exercise by either performing more reps, for a set time period, increase the resistance, or add a cardio burst to. These variations can intensify any exercise during your workout.
Keep it simple
Physical activity doesn’t have to be grueling for long periods of time. A 10-minute bout of exercise is better than nothing and can be more beneficial than struggling through a longer session. Plus, it’s more motivating to accomplish things efficiently. Keep things simple for your mind to keep your body motivated. When you have time and energy, utilize it for a longer session. Keeping things simple can apply to everything you do.
Make the decision and transform
Using mindful techniques can transform your life, work, confidence, and courage to succeed. Mel Robbins, a renowned motivational and keynote speaker, created ‘The 5 Second Rule’ by using the science of habits to become your greatest self. She states that it takes your mind 5 seconds to go left or right, i.e.: to make a decision. Say to yourself, ‘5, 4, 3, 2, 1’ and then make the choice to do something.
Rev up your routine
Changing your workouts frequently will keep your muscles guessing and improving. Your body will respond better to a variety of movements and workout styles. Little changes will make a difference!
THE WORKOUT : REV’D UP ROUTINE
If your goal is to get in better shape and be more toned, then it’s important to balance your workouts with strength and flexibility exercises in your routine. This workout focuses on using your own body weight along with the Total Gym to develop muscular strength and length for a powerful, total body circuit. Enjoy!
• Warm-up with 3-5 minutes of dynamic movements; squats, jumping jacks, planks, etc.
• Perform the workout in circuit style with little to no rest between exercises.
• Perform 10 REPS per movement, then go on to the next exercise.
• Repeat the circuit as many times through as your time permits.
• End the workout with a series of stretches to lengthen the worked muscles.
